On 22 July, at their meeting in Buenos Aries, the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors voted to renew the mandate of the Global Infrastructure Hub for another four years.
This reflects the continuing importance the G20 places on infrastructure as an economic driver, and as a means for addressing inequality and improving social outcomes.
In the past four years, the Global Infrastructure Hub has delivered ground-breaking research, facilitated greater knowledge sharing, helped connect the public and private sectors, and highlighted policy reform opportunities across infrastructure markets.
The Global Infrastructure Hub thanks the Ministers and Governors for their support and looks forward to continuing to play a crucial role in helping to address the challenge of the global infrastructure investment gap.
