The Secretariat of the Program of Investment Partnerships (SPPI), together with the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro), has prepared The Accreditation Program for the Inspection of Infrastructure Projects.
The certification program is under development and is expected to cover project feasibility studies, technical studies and execution of infrastructure projects to be evaluated by specialised entities and which will receive, based on technical requirements, a quality seal. Currently, there are already eight bodies, designated by Inmetro, able to certify projects and works, and the expectation is to increase this number in the coming months from the launch of the accreditation.
