The Hornsdale Power Reserve has the world’s largest lithium-ion battery which is helping to manage summertime peak load, reduce intermittencies and improve the security of South Australia’s electrical infrastructure. The battery is an AUD 90 million grid-connected 100 MW Tesla Powerpack system.
